NotreDame

About NDA Concert Band

The Youth Arts Academy is very happy to offer an enriching, educational, and fun band to the students of Notre Dame Academy! Playing an instrument is a fantastic way for kids to build self-confidence, develop discipline, have fun, and simply grow their love of music. Students will rehearse weekly for one hour and participate in two concerts over the course of the year. Students are expected to practice at home between rehearsals.

The bands we are offering are commonly known as concert bands or wind ensembles. Instruments from the woodwind family (saxophone, clarinet, and flute), the brass family (trumpet, trombone, and baritone), or percussion family (primarily snare drum) are available for the students to choose.
